Fantastic hotel, pleasant staff, amazing location close to everything. Location close enough to Corso Porta Borsari, the ancient Via Postumia, the center of things and the Verona. For shots visit Osteria del Bugiardo, nestled within 5 minutes' walk of the venue.

My stay at the beautiful hotel in the heart of Verona was truly unforgettable. The staff at Gabbia D'Oro went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my visit. Upon arrival, they provided me with detailed maps and guides to help me explore the city's sights and hidden gems. The room they offered me was even better than the one I had initially booked, and it was impeccably clean and comfortable. The housekeeping service was top-notch, and all the staff members I encountered were friendly and attentive. The hotel's location was ideal for sightseeing, as it was just a short walk away from the main squares and attractions. The breakfast spread was incredible, with a wide variety of delicious hot and cold options, and the breakfast area itself was stunning. I had a wonderful experience at Gabbia D'Oro and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect stay in Verona.

Lack of space in the rooms and bathroom.

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at this hotel. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was ideal, right in the heart of the city, allowing us to easily explore all the Christmas markets and attractions. The room was beautifully furnished and comfortable, with a lovely view. The breakfast offered a wide selection of delicious food, including fresh fruit and pastries. We also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the hotel's bar, perfect for enjoying a festive drink.

One downside was the small size of the room, especially the bathroom. It was a bit cramped and could have been more spacious.

I recently stayed at a beautiful hotel in the heart of Centro Historico. The location was perfect, just steps away from everything I wanted to see and do. The staff was incredibly attentive and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The breakfast each morning was absolutely fabulous, with a wide variety of fresh cakes, ham, and cheese. The room had a charming old-world charm, and the beds were comfortable. I had a delightful time and would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was very warm and they provided us with a large fan. They don't turn on the AC in Italy until they decide to . . . You can pay a lot for an air conditioned hotel and not get air conditioning.

The lady at the desk told us it was a short walk to a nearby church, and it was a very long walk. She should have advised us take a taxi because the church closed before we could get there.

We liked the character of the hotel and the fact it was within walking distance of everything in Verona.

It doesn't have a restaurant which is extremely odd for a 5 star hotel! The room could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom. We had a superior suite and it was quite cramped, a bit of a letdown.

It felt cramped and uncomfortable. Additionally, we were not informed of the exorbitant cost of parking our car overnight, which ended up being more than the rental rate itself.

Very quaint and peaceful hotel just steps from the beautiful, happening center of Verona. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room, no. 102 I think, has a small sitting area in addition to the bedroom. The bathroom was was nice size by European standards and the linens were lovely. We loved our stay here-just perfect.

Nothing to fault.

The location was absolutely perfect! Right in the center of the old town, with shops, restaurants and night life right outside the door. The staff was very friendly and eager to help out. Great stay - will defintely try to book again.

Reaching downtown via car is a little tricky because of all the one way streets and pedestrian routes but worth it once you arrive at the destination.
